Abel B. Voyles

Abel B. Voyles, age 83, of Salem, Indiana passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at his residence.  Born September 2, 1937 in Salem, he was the son of the late Abe P. Voyles and Mabel (Wheat) Voyles.

Abel was a retired electrician and Church of Christ by faith.

He is survived by his wife, Christine (Everage) Voyles; 1 son: Benjamin Voyles; 2 step-daughters: Melody Shook (Patrick) and April Kenyon; 1 sister: Becky Voyles; 3 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Abe and Mabel Voyles, and 7 brothers and sisters.

Direct cremation was chosen; a memorial will be held at a later date. Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral care.
