Donald "Tex" Cook Obituary

Donald "Tex" Lynn Cook, age 69 of Vallonia Indiana, passed away Friday March 22, 2019 at Lake Point Village in Scottsburg. He was born on October 16, 1949 in Virginia.

Tex was a Navy Veteran. He was formerly employed at Exopack in Seymour. He was a member of Faith Southern Baptist Church near Vallonia.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Pace) Cook; 4 children, Glen "Si" Underwood (Jessica) of Greensburg, Eva Robinson of Salem, Joshua Embry of Texas, and Jacob Embry of Texas; 2 brothers, Lance Cook of Virginia and Larry Cook of Ohio; 5 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Frank Cook and Gracie Cook; brother, Dennis Cook.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be 4-8 PM Monday, and Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Vallonia Cemetery. Tom Fultz will officiate.
