Daisy Mae Harris Obituary

Daisy Mae Harris, age 76, of Salem, Indiana, passed away Wednesday February 20, 2019 at St. Vincent Salem Hospital. Born on March 20, 1942 in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Isiah Bowling and Senna (Davidson) Bowling.

Daisy was a retired cook for several Salem restaurants. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Harris; 3 sons, Carl Dean, Jackie Dean (Tammy), and Robert Dean (Denise); daughter, Dawn Marie Soto; 3 brothers, Don Bowling, Isiah Bowling Jr, and Howard Bowling; 3 sisters, Betty Woodward, Sarah Burns, and Rosetta Chastain; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; son, Earl Dean; brother, Delbert Bowling.

The funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be Sunday from 4-8 PM, and Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
